TSL KIDS CREW IS HIRING!
Work hands-on as a summer camp counselor in a fun, welcoming, exciting environment! We are looking for someone who will come in everyday with a positive attitude ready to play, get messy, have fun and be a part of a great community!
This position is for the preschool age group, so you will be working with children ages 3-5. There is an opportunity for this position to turn into a Site Supervisor position come fall.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a group of 15 kids alongside other counselors.
-Lead group activities/crafts
-Help clean up activities and classroom space
-Be friendly and communicative with parents
-Engage and play with children
-Help children with bathroom needs
-Have fun
SKILLS:
- experience with children preferred
-outgoing personality
-able to solve problems between children
-Reliable
-good communication skills
-willing to jump right in and help
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with campers and staff
- Classroom management skills to create a safe and engaging environment
- First aid certification to handle any medical emergencies
- Ability to implement special education techniques when needed
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is a plus
- Understanding of childhood development and behavior management techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
