ResponsibilitiesPrimary Activities
- Build a team atmosphere, empowering foremen and operators to thrive and succeed.
- Manage multiple foremen and lead men on separate projects, providing tools, equipment, and technical support.
- Oversee projects across the Southeast, including:
- Attending meetings with clients, engineers, and owners.
- Ensuring timely material submissions, approvals, and deliveries with the Project Engineer.
- Maintaining compliance with erosion control inspections and MSHA standards.
- Scheduling equipment deliveries and project meetings.
- Managing project schedules, production goals, and safety compliance.
- Conduct on-site safety inspections and provide training for new and existing personnel.
- Recruit, screen, and onboard new employees.
- Submit project billing information and timesheets for timely invoicing and payroll.
- Maintain accurate project files, including fuel sheets, load counts, and material lists.
- Operate heavy equipment when necessary in accordance with safety protocols.
- Conduct routine and preventative equipment maintenance.
- Maintain inventory and ensure equipment and tools are properly stored.
- Install and maintain erosion control devices and address deficiencies.
- Perform minor emergency equipment repairs when needed.
- Proficient in equipment operation, safety, and maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of MSHA and OSHA regulations.
- Expertise in road construction, general site preparation, and heavy equipment operation.
- Understanding of workplace safety procedures and erosion control practices.
- Strong ability to operate heavy equipment safely and responsibly.
- Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.
