EXPEDITED LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
The Expedited Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient pickup and delivery of products for customers across the United States. Operations planning and daily communication with customers confirming order status on inbound / outbound orders into our facilities, and consistent communication both internal and external on order status.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manages interstate expedited shipment orders combined with local pickup and delivery scheduling, with a focus on site requirements / equipment.

· Dispatches shipments to meet customer demands in the most efficient method possible.

· Coordinates orders throughout the day and trouble shoots any order changes with driver/agents and customer service representative.

· Review of all inbound and outbound expedited orders for requirements and ensures timely updates in dispatch system.

· Responsible for working with operations staff on daily execution of orders to meet and exceed customer expectations.

· Act as a facilitator for carrier problem resolution with focus on logistical solutions, rates or other business issues.

· Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Prior experience as expedited / air freight transportation operations coordinator with exceptional knowledge of transportation logistics, proficient in data entry.

-Experienced on all compliance rules for TSA Known Shipper Program.

-SME for most cost effective routings to achieve customer delivery requirements.

· Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word

· Ability to work additional hours on occasion as needed.
