We provide security services at reentry homes in South Los Angeles that provide housing for individuals getting out of jail who are homeless, have severe mental health issues, and often times substance use issues. You must be comfortable working in South LA and with the population that resides in the homes we service.

Security Duties:

x Be professional

x Report to work on time and hold over on their specified posts until relieved by the next security guard.

x Be courteous to the public and Company employees, staff, and members/clients.

x Cover an assignment at a fixed post or patrol an area or facility for the purpose of detecting and preventing individuals or groups from committing acts that are injurious to others or to property.

x Intervene to terminate injurious or unlawful acts against Company employees, staff and/or members/clients.

x Provide facility patrol as necessary

x Direct visitors to the appropriate Company representative, staff or service within the facility.

x Visually screen individuals and/or property entering or leaving the facility to secure against unauthorized entry or Company property theft.

x Report safety hazards, malfunctioning equipment, liquid spills, and other such matters to appropriate maintenance personnel.

x Respond to scene of locally activated fire, burglary or other alarms at Company facilities; evaluate situation encountered and take prescribed action.

x Perform room checks and room searches

x Attend all scheduled trainings

x Communicate with your team (i.e. clinical staff, managing staff and peers)
