Position Description Summary:

The Cloud Architect plays a pivotal role in steering the technical implementation of intricate projects. Leveraging your expertise, you'll drive innovation, ensure scalability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Support all technical implementation requirements, overseeing the development of secure application architectural designs that align with industry standards, with a strong focus on AWS cloud services.
• Generate architecture blueprints to guide the development and implementation of solutions across various products, incorporating AWS architecture best practices.
• Develop and maintain enterprise technical architecture, encompassing SOA, data modeling, web applications, web services, EAI, database, ETL, Java, JEE, SOAP, and XML, with an emphasis on leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate interfaces and operational performance requirements, ensuring seamless integration with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance controls, aligning with Basecamp Consulting and Solution’s security standards, while documenting and providing security considerations for technical implementations on AWS, including IAM, encryption, and AWS compliance programs.
• Assist in creating, managing, and updating CI/CD pipelines using AWS services such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy to streamline the deployment process.
• Analyze and extract data from company databases to optimize product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies, utilizing AWS data services such as Redshift, Athena, and QuickSight.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum five to seven years of experience in systems architecture, solution design, and solution implementation.
• Knowledgeable in back-end system design and scalability, including application servers, database servers, hosting, load-balancing, caching, and layered network defense, with a focus on AWS services and solutions.
• Familiarity with software architecture design & diagramming tools, such as Visio, and AWS architecture design tools like AWS Architecture Diagrams.
• Excellent planning skills in both tactical and strategic planning, particularly in the context of AWS cloud environments.
• Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects with strong self-motivation and minimal supervision.

Education: Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred.

Security Clearance Required: Must have active IRS MBI Clearance
