Tubman is looking for an aftercare shelter case manager who will assess the victim/survivor's needs and connect them to appropriate services that meet their needs to successfully transition from shelter to housing. The aftercare shelter case manager will implement services with a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and client-centered approach while assisting people to gain and maintain housing. This position also acts as 1 of 2 project coordinators for the agency’s Domestic Violence Housing First project, funded by the Office of Justice Programs. This funding is secured through December 2025, at which point the agency hopes to secure new funding to continue this work. The schedule is flexible to support client and program needs (generally Mon-Fri 10:00 am-6:30 pm) and must include at least one evening per week in the shelter until 8:00 pm or later. The position will have office space on the shelter floor but approximately 50% of work hours will take place in the community.

Responsibilities
Provides aftercare case management services to shelter clients who have moved into housing, maintaining consistent contact with all clients (75% of job).
Acts as 1 of 2 Project Coordinators for the Office of Justice Program’s Domestic Violence Housing First project (25% of job).

Compensation & Benefits
The salary for the position is $23.50 per hour depending on your experience.
