**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare company. The ideal candidate should have experience in medical office settings and possess knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records systems.
**Responsibilities:**
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment calendars
- Verify patient insurance information and process payments
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain patient records and update information in the electronic medical records system
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
**Experience:**
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Previous experience in a clinic, urgent care, or dental receptionist role is advantageous
- Knowledge of medical office operations and front desk responsibilities
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate must be able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service to patients. The successful candidate must also take initiative in starting tasks.
