Job Description SUMMARY Collaborates with District staff, parents and students to identify high risk students for future prevention services. May visit students and parents in the home to determine cause for absenteeism, academic or discipline problems. Monitors these students as they enter and go through school to determine impact of prevention activities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Valid Arizona teaching Certificate Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card Five years teaching experience at the grade levels appropriate to position filled. Verbal & Written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions. Valid Driver's License PREFERED REQUIREMENTS Master's Degree in Educational Administration, Curriculum & Instruction or related field Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students Bilingual (Spanish) Endorsement ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization. MVReport - showing no more than the allowable points against Driver's License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees. Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliance greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees COMMENTS Effective:2024 - 2025 SCHOOL YEAR Location: Dunham Elementary School - 22nd St & Harrison Area FTE: .5 - 3.75 hours per day Work Calendar: 9.5 month Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
