Summary
The Department Administrator II for Tulane University School of Medicine Program of Nursing (PON) will provide administrative oversight and operational support for the nursing baccalaureate degree (BSN) program.
They will establish and maintain systems for efficient handling of program functions, communication, data management, and special projects.
The Department Administrator manages the day-to-day operations and operationalizes the administrative aspects of the PON.
They will work with the Dean and others to implement policies, procedures, contracts, and data collection methods for the PON that meets regulatory and accreditation requirements.
They will assist in the recruitment, hire, management, and annual evaluation of staff. They are responsible for the management and retention of institutional and program regulatory, accreditation and credentialing files.
The Department Administrator will serve as a resource regarding compliance with program standards and will work closely with the Program Leadership with preparing annual and special reports for the School, University, regulatory and accreditation organizations.
They will assist with credentialing of faculty and manage the PON budget. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
