Based in Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, or Huntsville, theAccounts Payable Administratorwill report to the Accounting Manager and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on invoicing, accounts payable & receivable, and financial reporting.
What You’ll Do:The Accounts Payable Administrator will be part of the Enterprises team. You will:
  • Provide general accounting support
  • Post and allocate expenses to proper accounts
  • Verify accuracy of invoices received
  • Update accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information, etc
  • Vendor set up and maintenance
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements
  • Reconcile corporate credit card statements, match receipts, postings, etc
  • Prepare month-end AP reports
  • Provide confidential, courteous, and professional service
  • Complete other administrative duties related to filing, maintenance, and retention of accounting records as assigned

  • You have 5 years experience working in an Accounting role or related

  • You are trusted and provided freedom to work independently but also contribute to overall team success
What You Should Bring:The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or university degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related program. Additionally, you should have:
  • High motivation with results-oriented focus
  • Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to navigate confidential matters and manage sensitive data
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with QuickBooks or BST is an asset
  • Valid Class G driver’s licence
