The Director of District Operations is a critical part of the Tulsa Legacy Charter School Leadership team that reports to and collaborates with the Executive Director. The Director of Operations will ensure efficient and effective systems across all areas of the organization while remaining aligned with our mission, vision, core values, and education program.
The Director of District Operations will ensure the implementation and maintenance of clear operational systems that allow the principals and teachers to focus almost entirely on students and families. The Director of Disrtrict Operations will be an individual who embraces innovation and continuous improvement. He/she is willing to get his/her hands dirty and is committed to finding ways to work smarter and more cost-efficiently. The Director of District Operations role is an administrative position and is for a 12-month period.

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree
• Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership, Business Management and at least 2 years of experience in Operations strongly preferred
• Past experiences and actions reflect a commitment to the TLCS mission, vision, core values
• A passion and ability to build and sustain the TLCS PK-8 model in a high need, urban environment
• Reflective, self-aware and adaptable to communication and work styles of others
• Critical thinker and problem solver who takes initiative while being able to make difficult decisions
• Belief in the power of collaboration and works to build a collaborative culture with TLCS network, community, staff, families and students
• Has successful teaching and administration experience, with a pattern of increasing responsibility in education and administration
• Demonstrates strong financial intelligence and long-term vision for fiscal stewardship; allocates resources according to school and board goals
• Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills
