Position Summary: The Coordinator of Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) will support the planning, continuous improvement, and implementation of MTSS. The coordinator is tasked with training, consulting, and supporting administrators and school-based leadership teams to facilitate implementation of MTSS, to support schools in the development of positive school climate and classroom management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
•Master's degree
Experience:
•Three (3) years experience in school counseling or related field
•Three (3) years experience working in or with an urban education system with a focus
on climate and culture and behavioral supports strongly preferred
•Familiarity with TPS supported strategies
•Classroom teaching or school-based management experience highly preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:
•Knowledge of MTSS model and implementation of an MTSS model in school settings
•Knowledge of best practices in school culture and climate supports
•Administrative certificate is preferred
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
•Bilingual in Spanish preferred
