**Store Clerk**
**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Store Clerk to join our team. As a Store Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store by providing excellent customer service and maintaining a well-organized and efficient retail environment.
**Duties:**
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Stay compliant with state laws (ID all customers)
- Process sales transactions accurately using Clover POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store shelves and displays
- Handle cash transactions with precision and integrity
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Promote sales by understanding customer needs and recommending products
- Stock shelves with merchandise and monitor inventory levels (must be able to lift 25lbs)
- Provide information about products, prices, and availability
- Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction
**Experience:**
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy store environment
- Ability to multitask while delivering exceptional service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with customers
