Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in route driving, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Position will also perform maintenance duties as needed on medication carts and fax machines. Schedule is full-time, 9:00AM-6:00PM, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently drive company vehicles to deliver packages to customers
- Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and care
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Perform heavy lifting as needed
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Courier Driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools
- Valid AL driver's license with an acceptable driving record
