Turenne PharMedCo is Hiring a Pharmacy Technician Near Montgomery, AL
Turenne PharMedCo is a long-term care pharmacy with locations across the Southeast. We are currently growing and adding to our Pharmacy Team at our Montgomery branch location!
Available shifts are PRN (as needed), Part-Time, and Full-Time.
Full-time shifts are Monday-Friday, 10:00AM-7:00PM and 12:00PM-9:00PM with rotating Saturdays.
Job Summary:
We are seeking to add skilled Pharmacy Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Prepare prescription orders under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Measure, mix, count out, label, and record amounts and dosages of medications
- Perform pharmaceutical calculations as required
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Assist in the maintenance of pharmacy equipment
Experience:
- Previous Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred
- Must be licensed and registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the TN State Board of Pharmacy
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification is highly preferred
Position is eligible for company benefits package to include health/dental/vision insurance, sick time/vacation time/holiday pay and 401(k) retirement.
