Summary/Objective: An Accounts Receivable Specialist will help manage invoicing, collections, and deposits, as well as reconciling accounts, data entry tasks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position will also be responsible for reaching out to customers for past due payments, setting up new accounts, and resolving payment disputes.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Review invoices for accuracy.
• Send invoices to customers and clients.
• Process payments.
• Placing direct phone calls, Emails and text messages to customers that are past due.
• Set up new accounts.
• Maintain customer files and record payment information.
• Perform data entry tasks.
• Manages expired Auto Pay credit card accounts.
• Manages Group Billing Accounts along with appropriate Account Managers.
• Handles returned checks and credit card disputes.
• Handles Bankruptcy notices for all customers.
• Addresses ongoing customer complaints concerning billing or service rendered and works on complaints of service failures with designated departments.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma (or G.E.D.) is required.
• Proven work experience as a Collections Manager or equivalent.
• This position requires good written, oral and reading communication skills in order for the candidate to accurately obtain, interpret and transcribe a variety of communications and instructions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• Experience in Collections and/or Accounts Receivable

Salary range: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
