TURF VALLEY RESORT AND CONF CNTR is Hiring an Administrative Accounting Specialist Near Towson, MD

CCI Management Inc, a Commercial Real Estate Property Management & Leasing company, is seeking a full-time Accounting/Administrative Specialist. The role primarily conducts day to day operations with accounts receivable/payable in addition to completing financial reporting, bi-weekly payroll, and other administrative duties.

ACCOUNTING/PAYROLL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in updating and maintaining the tenant base using real estate accounting software
  • Review all transactions related to tenants, verifying that the transactions have been properly recorded
  • Assist in the calculation of CPI rental increases, operating expenses and real estate tax reimbursement calculations and invoicing of tenants
  • Process vendor invoices and print checks
  • Calculate job costing for hours worked in Excel
  • Issue monthly rental invoices to tenants, rent increase letters, late notices, and collection calls
  • File court paperwork/money judgements and possessions for delinquent tenant accounts
  • Process timesheets & bi-weekly payroll within payroll software
  • Balance Payroll bank account and make general ledger entries accordingly
  • Maintain an accurate record of payroll related reports that are used for audit purposes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for garnishments
  • Perform Quarterly and Year End processes

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain all personnel files
  • Offer and process health insurance enrollment/termination, changes and 401(k) in a timely manner
  • Prepare and write up maintenance request orders in a timely fashion
  • Provide Vacancy and Lease Expiration Reports
  • Keep Rent Rolls Current & Update Stacking Plans
  • Ensure current certificates of insurance are received and in tenant files
  • Assist with preparing leases, addenda, proposals, and general correspondence
  • Notify contractors of change in tenant occupancy for vacancy credits
  • Analyze staff hours monthly for any shortages & track credits for future services
