ABOUT US

Formerly known as Project TURN, we were founded in 1973 by a group of parents who wanted better services for their adult children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Now known as TURN Community Services, we provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities.

With locations from Brigham City to St. George, we offer a full range of services including day programs, residential living, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities.

YOUR LIFE AS A CAREGIVER - DIRECT CARE AIDE

Monday-Friday 8 : 15 am - 3 : 15 pm, with a staff meeting every other Friday 3 pm - 4 pm.

As an entry-level Caregiver - Direct Care Aide, you work with our nonprofit to support people with developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible.

You're flexible and always willing to help with behavior management and recreational activities as well. You have an absolute blast getting to know our clients!

Using effective mentoring techniques, you support our clients with their day-to-day schedules. You always model appropriate social skills and behaviors.

If there are ever concerns about health or safety, you're quick to report them. You find it incredibly rewarding to provide personal care for these amazing individuals - the added fun that you have with them is the icing on the cake!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

You might be a good fit if you meet the following qualifications :

  • 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle
  • A heart for serving people with developmental disabilities
  • Must be able to drive and willing to drive large vans for transport and activities

No experience is required for this full- or part-time entry-level role! If you can meet these requirements and perform this personal care job as described above, we'd love to have you as part of our caregiving team!
