Registered Nurse (RN)

Now hiring Full Time RNs!

Vaccines not mandatory.

Location: Multi-Site Float

  • Full Time Flex Float
  • Hourly Pay Travel & Lodging dependent on distance
  • As a float nurse you would work as a temporary fill-in at a correctional facility with a nursing staff shortage; which could consist of a 6, 8, or 12 hour shifts; day, evening, nights and weekends. This would call for the qualified candidate to have a flexible schedule and be able to work in a variety of locations and settings when called. This position will be provided lodging and travel expenses for longer distance travels which may require working that facility multiple days. In order to become a float nurse, the candidate must be available for last minute assignments and ready to work when contacted.

The Registered Nurse (RN) cares for clients based on their unique needs, using both dependent and independent nursing skills, following recognized techniques and standards, under the guidance of the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications:

  • Valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current CPR
  • Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized nursing care within assigned area.
  • Adhere to recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and standards.
  • Work under the direction or delegation of the director of nursing.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Stay updated on nursing practices through continuous learning.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
