Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients.

Hiring a Senior Angular Engineer to work closely with the development team to deliver scalable and efficient code for web applications using the Angular framework. The selected individual will play a key role building the next generation of web applications for patent and trademark services. The team works in an Agile environment, typically in fixed-length sprints (Scrum methodology), with regular interactions with Product Owners and other team members.

Role

 Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.

 Take initiative to research new technologies and to understand the current state of the frontend community.

 Serve as technical expert on development projects.

 Design, develop, document, test, and debug new software systems.

 Work closely with the development team to deliver high quality scalable code.

 Mentor and support other frontend developers through code reviews and continuous feedback.

 Share and document knowledge and best practices.

 Analyze code to find causes of errors and remedy in the code base.

Qualified candidates will have eight to ten years of progressive development with the last five years dedicated exclusively to building responsive web applications using Angular.

Required Experience

 Typescript/JavaScript ES6 .

 CSS via SASS or LESS and semantic HTML.

 NgRx, webpack and Node.js.

 Writing unit tests (Jest).

 Consuming RESTful APIs.

 Knowledge of front-end performance.

 Working in a monorepo environment.

 Proficient in UI/UX design principles and layout aesthetics for responsive design.

 Strong grasp of software design patterns and fundamental principles

 Understanding of architecture in complex, large-scale applications

 Technical leadership within a web application development team

 Testing and debugging cross-browser compatibility issues and work arounds.

 A wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $130,000 or the hourly equivalent.
