Turner Industries is Hiring a Fuel Truck Driver Near Norco, LA
- Minimum four (4) years of experience hauling heavy equipment
- TWIC required
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A or B required with HAZMAT and Tankerman endorsement
- Pre-employment qualification test/federal written driving test
- DOT card
- Schedule: Shift work; rotating days and nights; must be willing to be on call and able to work overtime as needed
Physical InvolvementEmployee may be required to do the following: climbing into and out of truck(s); reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands, fingers and feet to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction.
Mental InvolvementEmployee may be required to do the following: following set procedures and standards; applying basic mathematical skills; planning work and selecting proper tools; judging distances and slopes accurately; following oral and/or written directions; reading; writing; ability to recognize and report safety hazards.
Work Environment Factors
- Location: industrial maintenance and construction sites, public roadways, refinery / chemical facilities, and/or equipment yard
- Mobility Barriers to Access Job Site: uneven ground levels; obstructed pathways
- Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site: predominately outdoor climate; may be exposed to extreme hot or cold weather, excessive humidity, rain, etc.; various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc.; potential exposure to chemical substances
