Turner Industries is looking for Process Operators to join our team for maintenance work in the Pass Christian, MS. The Process Operator position operates plant process equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

• NO per diem
• Must be able to pass health/drug screen, background screen and required safety council training
• Day shift - 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• 12 hour rotating shift 6:30 to 6:30 day and nights

Job Requirements:
Assumes responsibility for assisting in meeting plant production requirements as set by client/owner, Maintains a safe working environment at all times, Observant of operating process equipment and maintenance needs, Communicate with the supervisor as necessary to ensure maximum performances as outlined by production goals, Knowledgeable of and must follow established plant and company policies and procedures including plant emergency procedures, Must be alert for changing conditions and taking any/all actions required, Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
Qualification Standards:

• High school or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, channel locks, pipe wrenches, combination wrenches, etc.
• Basic knowledge of bolt up patterns for flanges
• Familiar with different types of hose connections
• Some job sites may require training certification
• Written pre-employment qualification test
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation (20/40 vision, with or without correction, required)
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
• Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
• Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Physical Involvement:
May be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing / sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; wearing respirator and other PPE; typing / data entry; stepstool use; work in excessive heat; work in excessive cold; work in loud environment

• Location: industrial maintenance and construction sites; fiberglass piping manufacturing facilities
• Mobility Barriers to Access Job Site: uneven ground level; obstructed pathways; work performed at low and/or high elevations; work performed in confined areas
• Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site: predominantly outdoor climate; may be exposed to extreme hot or cold weather, excessive humidity, rain, etc.; various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc.; potential exposure to chemical substances
