Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center is Hiring an Executive Liaison Near Skokie, IL

Turning Point BHCC in Skokie seeks to hire an Executive Liaison to support our administrative and development teams. The Executive Liaison will support the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to broaden and strengthen key internal and external relationships. This position also supports development operations at Turning Point. Reports to Chief Growth Officer. 40 hours per week, in office at Turning Point in Skokie.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Community Relations

a. At the direction of the CEO and CGO, attend community meetings related to programmatic, legislative, or organizing activities which further Turning Point’s mission.

b. Collect and maintain essential documents for programs and funding sources (e.g., linkage agreements, BOD attestations for DCFS).

c. Create presentations for site visits and meetings in the community.

d. Coordinate distribution of marketing materials throughout Skokie and the surrounding area.

2. Board of Directors Support

a. Communication and coordination surrounding Board and committee meetings. This requires preparing documents and packets, manual maintenance, meeting minutes, various document updates, and creation of meeting materials.

b. Maintain up-to-date official records of the Board and its committees, including minutes, all Director-related documents.

c. Serve as a primary informational contact for Board members, verbally and in writing.

d. Plan Board of Directors’ orientations and on-boarding.

3. CEO Support

a. Coordinate CEO’s events and site visits.

b. Serve as first contact at the CEO’s Office.

c. Prepare key communication with staff and external parties.

d. Maintain Key Documents File, ensuring updates are made and documents are available for grants, audits, etc.

e. Take staff meeting minutes and file for reference.

f. Maintain inventory of and organize storage of stationery, brochures, business cards, and other supplies. 

g. Creates and sends completion certificates for Academy and Professional Development events. 

h. Maintains Turning Point CEU licenses (renewals). 

i. Assists with CARF activities as needed.

4. Development Support

a. Maintain and continually update donor records and mailing lists via DonorPerfect and Constant Contact.

b. Create and submit weekly reports on development activity.

c. Promptly process thank you letters for all donations.

d. Run reports and extract data as needed from DonorPerfect.

e. Prepare and execute mailings.

f. Serve as primary assistant for all development and community awareness events including but not limited to the annual benefit and Town Hall Meeting, providing support as needed in preparation for, during, and after events.

g. Provide administrative support for all members of the Development team.

5. Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or at least three years of experience in a similar role.

2. Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management, research and general administration.

3. Critical thinking skills and the ability to follow oral and written instructions.

4. Excellent use of Microsoft Office products, in particular Outlook, Word, and Excel, and a relational data base program (ideally DonorPerfect).

5. Background check is required for this position.

6. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds.
