What you will do as a Service Writer :

Confirms automotive problems and needed services by listening to guest's description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems;

conducting inspections; and checking vehicle maintenance records as necessary.

• Verifies fleet and service contract coverage by calling fleet or warranty company for prior authorization; explaining estimates and exclusions to guest.
• Provides estimates of materials, supplies, and labor. Contacts guests for authorization for payment, including deductibles

Qualifications (Choose One)

• At least 1 year of experience as a Service Writer, or related experience.
• Must have solid understanding of car repair / mechanic principles.
• Must have experience using MaxxTraxx shop management system or equivalent.
