Here’s how we like to partner with you
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives. Identify key growth areas, target markets, and expansion opportunities.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of business development specialists to achieve individual and team goals. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to foster professional development and maximise performance.
Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities, including new markets, industries, and partnerships. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers. Leverage your network to generate leads, secure partnerships, and drive revenue growth.
Business Negotiation:Lead negotiations with clients, partners, and vendors to secure favorable terms and agreements. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts are in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives. Collaborate with sales teams to identify sales opportunities, provide support, and optimize the sales process.
Pipeline Management: Manage the business development pipeline, track progress against targets, and provide regular reporting to senior management. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize pipeline efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration:Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align business development efforts with overall company objectives. Provide insights and feedback to support product and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven track record of 5-8 years in a business development or sales role, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
