Position: Educational Consultant/Community Marketer

Company: Tutor Doctor - Coastal Orange County

Must be an Orange County resident with the ability to travel locally.

Service Areas: Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, and surrounding communities

The Role: As an Educational Consultant/Community Marketer, you’ll be the face of Tutor Doctor in the community, forging new partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with local schools and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead community marketing efforts by engaging with local schools, organizations, and businesses.
• Commit to regular visits to local schools, 3-5 times weekly, for morning to noon sessions lasting 2-3 hours.
• Represent Tutor Doctor at community events, such as the upcoming tabling event at the local YMCA on Wednesday, June 5, from 10am-12pm.
• Initiate and nurture partnerships with educational institutions to introduce and integrate our tutoring services.
• Conduct insightful consultations with potential clients to identify and meet their educational needs, primarily via Zoom during evening hours (mostly 3-7pm).
• Pursue sales objectives diligently to maximize student success.
• Maintain and enhance client relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction and progress.
• Safely store marketing materials occupying approximately half of a standard garage space.

Candidate Profile:

• Requires at least three years of experience in sales and marketing, with a proven ability to meet goals.
• Capable of comprehending diverse educational needs, setting personalized academic plans, and delivering effective solutions.
• Knowledge of the California education system and prior teaching experience would be beneficial.
• Must be fluent in English and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Should exhibit maturity and professionalism when communicating with families.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record.

Compensation:

• $20/hour for community marketing and business development tasks.
• Opportunity for performance-based bonuses, with earnings up to $100 per consultation(average one hour).
