Job description

Company Overview:

TVM Precision is a medium-sized machining manufacturer with 6,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity serving the Aerospace, Defense, and Semiconductor Industries. We offer quick-turn prototyping, production manufacturing, and 5-Axis machining of complex parts in difficult materials.

Job Summary:

  • Conduct thorough inspections using Mitutoyo Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure the flawless quality of our manufactured products.
  • Develop and implement CMM programs to automate inspection processes and improve efficiency.
  • Generate FAIR and In-Process Inspection Reports.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to determine the root causes of any quality issues and develop corrective actions.
  • Keep detailed records of inspection outcomes and inform relevant parties about any deviations from specifications.
  • Assist in the development and execution of quality control plans to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Train and mentor new team members on CMM inspection techniques and effective programming methods.

Qualifications Required:

  • 3 Years’ CMM Programming Experience.
  • Proven experience as a CMM Inspector/Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in programming and operating CMM equipment.
  • Solid understanding of GD&T principles and their application in quality control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to successfully determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure the highest level of accuracy in inspections.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated attitude with a dedication to continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and present inspection results.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus opportunities

Ability to Relocate:

  • Santa Clara, CA: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
