Description Our client is looking for a supervisor to oversee their evening team of Therapists/Social Workers (5) who provide field support to the community. They offer a variety of services, both inpatient and outpatient. They are a nonprofit organization scaling up their team to allow for more lives to be changed each day. With national recognition after some of their leaders speaking before Congress, you can feel secure making this transition given their strong influx of funding. There will be times (around 10%) where you will need to provide onsite support and transition back into a patient-focused role. However, the primary goal of this position is to assist the Director in providing oversight and coordination of the field response team. Community Supervisor, Social Work (LCSW or LCPC req. & leadership exp. is NOT req.) Responsibilities
Provide training and support to new therapists and interns
Assist in scheduling and coverage for call-outs during shifts
Review step-down paperwork from hospitals and manage diversion referrals
Cultivate relationships with hospitals, outpatient facilities and other referral sources
Submit Emergency Petitions and progress reports
Attend meetings with partnering organizations
Monitor budget spending and ensuring compliance with contract requirements
Document and Report critical incidents
Identify and address barriers to progress
Assist therapists in resolving authorization for service issues
Partciapte in field runs when necessary or when specialized expertise is needed
Track monthly outcome data as required by the State and local behavioral health authority Community Supervisor, Social Work (LCSW or LCPC req. & leadership exp. is NOT req.) Qualifications
Master’s degree in clinical psychology or social work required
LCPC or LCSW required (will consider LMSW candidates close to obtaining higher licensure)
