Sales Support Specialist (Marine Industry)

Location: New Bedford, MA

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 10-25% Bonus Benefits

Benefits: Medical, Disability, PTO, 401(k), Holidays, PTO-3 weeks

Job Type: Full-Time

Travel: Less than 10% Domestic; tradeshows/industry events

Typical Hours: Mon -Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Sales Support Specialist (Marine Industry) Description

Our client in the marine industry is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join their expanding team. This vital role ensures the seamless operation of our client’s business and fosters effective communication among team members and external partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a dynamic environment where each day brings new challenges. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will qualify inbound and outbound leads while delivering exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients, nurturing long-term relationships. This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of a collaborative and energetic team, where hard work is recognized and rewarded with both professional and financial growth. Additionally, this position offers a clear path to promotion, with the potential to advance to Sales Manager within the next few years.

Sales Support Specialist (Marine Industry) Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for distributors, reps, and end users

• Manage inbound inquiries and process orders

• Attend industry tradeshows (Miami, Tampa, and Amsterdam)

• Prepare quotes

• Resolve customer issues promptly and accurately

• Represent the company at conferences and networking events

• Work with sales, marketing, and other departments to develop strategies

• Ensure seamless order fulfillment

• Maintain and update marketing materials

• Generate sales reports to track performance and provide insights

Sales Support Specialist (Marine Industry) Qualifications

• 2 years of B2B customer or sales support experience required

• Experience managing distributors or channel partners required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required

• Must be able to work onsite
