Location: Near Henderson, NC

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 DOE Bonus ($10k annually) Benefits

Quality Engineer (Machining & CNC exp. req.; 4-day workweek) Description

Our client is looking for a Quality Engineer to add to their team near Henderson, NC. In this role, you will manage the quality of machined parts through thorough analysis, problem-solving, and teamwork with production and engineering teams. Key duties include applying quality control measures, finding process improvement opportunities, and leading ongoing quality improvement efforts. To be considered for this role, you must have experience in quality engineering or quality assurance within a machining or manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of machining processes, particularly with CNC lathes and screw machines. Quality Engineer (Machining & CNC exp. req.; 4-day workweek) Responsibilities

• Manage quality control for machined components

• Optimize machining processes with manufacturing and engineering

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

• Maintain quality inspection records

• Analyze machining data to drive quality improvements

• Train production operators on quality control procedures

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives

• Address customer concerns related to machined components

• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulation

• Use advanced metrology tools for part inspection

• Design fixtures for checking parts or assemblies

Quality Engineer (Machining & CNC exp. req.; 4-day workweek) Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering required

• 3 years in quality engineering within machining or manufacturing required

• Strong understanding of CNC lathes and screw machines required

• Proficiency in using measuring tools like gauges and micrometers required
