Job Summary

Responsible for the Nuclear Imaging of the newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient as ordered by the physician post administration of a radioactive material. Positions and instructs the patient for Nuclear Medicine examinations, adjusts the imaging equipment, determines proper dosage and desired exposure time for each image following ALARA guidelines.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

Minimum:

  • Must have met minimum requirements required for licensure by DHS.
  • Understands radiology information systems utilization and operation.
  • Computer literacy required.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

  • DHS Certified Technologist, Nuclear Medicine license to include Veni-puncture.
  • AHA-BLS-HCP certification.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

  • Communication is an essential skill requiring the ability to see, hear and speak.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Pay Range: $40.02 - $53.78 hourly
