Job Overview:

As a Medical Records Specialist at Twin Cities Physicians, you will be responsible for reviewing and uploading medical records to MIPS. This role focuses primarily on record review rather than quality assurance, and does not involve the implementation of quality programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review Medical Records: Conduct thorough reviews of patient medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Upload to MIPS: Efficiently upload medical records to the MIPS system, ensuring all data is correctly entered.
• Maintain Records: Ensure that all patient records are organized, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with healthcare providers and administrative staff to manage records and address any discrepancies.
• Ensure Compliance: Stay informed about healthcare regulations to ensure all records meet required standards.

Qualifications:

• LPN or Medical Records Experience: Previous experience as an LPN or in a medical records role is required.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to accurately review and manage medical records.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using medical record management systems and basic computer applications.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and staff.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple records and tasks efficiently.
