Dietary Aide

Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in a nursing home or assisted living facility.
- Follow dietary restrictions and guidelines provided by healthcare professionals.
- Sanitate work areas, utensils, and equipment to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, ensuring their satisfaction with meals and addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure efficient food production and timely meal service.
- Help with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, portioning food, and assembling trays.
- Assist with food handling and storage, including receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and monitoring expiration dates.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

#### Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dietary Aide or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with meal planning and portion control is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.69 - $16.30 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
