Twining, Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company with 125 years of history, is seeking Receiving Technician and Laboratory Technician for our Long Beach facility.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Performing various types of materials testing on steel, concrete, and aggregate.
- Assist with sample receiving, entry, and storage.
- Obtaining in-house training on machine safety and test method proficiency.
- Enter samples into our software accurately.
- Creating new work order numbers and entering testing data and billing items.
- Computer data entry.
- Assistance in other departments in the laboratory as needed.
- Help with pickups on a daily basis.
- Experience in concrete, soil and rebar testing helpful.
- 1 years previous experience working with construction materials helpful.
- ACI, NICET, Caltrans certifications helpful.
- Basic mathematics skills.
- Ability to work well as both a team player and individual self-starter.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times daily.
- Basic computer skills, specifically experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills.
- Solid communication skills.
- Clean DMV record.
