Job Summary:

At Two Eight, we are seeking a dedicated and reliable Water Well Driver to join our team in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. As a Water Well Driver, you will play a critical role in supporting our water well drilling operations by transporting equipment, tools, and materials to various job sites. This position requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to work closely with the team to ensure successful and efficient drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation and Logistics:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport drilling rigs, equipment, tools, and supplies to and from job sites.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to support drilling activities and maintain efficient operations.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment and materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads.

Support Drilling Operations:

• Work closely with the drilling team to coordinate transportation needs and ensure all necessary equipment is on-site and ready for use.
• Transport, load, and unload materials, tools, and supplies as needed for drilling activities.
• Assist the team in setting up drilling rigs and preparing sites for operation.
• Monitor drilling operations and report any issues or concerns to the team lead.
• Monitor vehicle and equipment conditions, reporting any issues to the team lead for immediate attention.

Repair and Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance on the truck rig and associated equipment to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, carrying out necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving and operating equipment.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and drills to stay informed of best practices.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe working condition, performing routine checks and reporting any concerns.

Team Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with team members, providing support and assistance wherever needed.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, contributing to the success of the entire operation.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Previous experience in driving commercial vehicles, preferably in a construction or manual labor setting.
• Familiarity with water well drilling operations or similar work environments is a plus.
• Experience with truck rig maintenance and repairs is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Proficient in operating large vehicles and equipment, including experience with loading and unloading heavy materials.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs and maintenance on vehicles and equipment.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Class B commercial driver’s license, with airbrakes endorsement (CDL) and a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on truck rigs and associated equipment.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all elements year-round and get dirty.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain a drug-free status throughout employment.
