We are on the lookout for a Sales & Business Director to join a China-centric digital marketing and cross-border e-commerce agency based in Munich and Shanghai. We are very well established with a strong portfolio of marquee clietns.

The Sales and Business Director will have the prime responsibilities for P&L, ‘hands on’ revenue generations and the recruitment of sales and account management to be based in the centre of Munich.

You will proactively initiate and establish strategic, long -term relationships with FMCG and luxury good brands, tourist destinations and sports federations in the DACH region and beyond.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of sales and account management experience in a social media or e-commerce agency.

Used to building and developing a strong network of relationships across a variety of stakeholders from marketing managers to CEOs in different industries.

Retain and grow client relationships, meeting or exceeding targets.

Be fully accountable for your portfolio of accounts, ensuring delivery to agreed service levels, and in line with external and internal KPI's.

Apart from closing new clients, you will develop and implement business operating plans which formally identify additional business opportunities and specific ways to strengthen service delivery with clients.

Set expectations and interface closely with all stakeholders and suppliers on performance against execution goals.

Excellent interpersonal and management skills in an international environment will be required, as well as strong organizational and presentation skills.

Fluency in German and English are required, Chinese is a plus.
