This is a busy, fast paced Home Health rehabilitation team which provides Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology services to the community.

The ideal candidate:

The requirements:

  • Degree from a CAOTE accredited school
  • Current state licensure or eligibility in Occupational Therapy in Maryland
  • Has one (1) year Home Health experience, but would consider candidates with experience in the inpatient or skilled settings as well
  • Lymphedema experience is a plus
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
  • Will display strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication
  • Focuses on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence
  • Experience with documentation utilizing EMR

The responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality outcomes driven occupational therapy services
  • Document with web-based software and documentation system (EMR)
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload and oversee compliance of department.
  • Conduct patient and family education Meet all clinical, department, and regulatory expectations
  • Participate in a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication
