The Coordinator, Academy of Dance is a part-time staff position responsible to the Director, Academy of Dance. The position is responsible for assisting the operational activities for continuing education courses and programs.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Answer and route incoming calls for Continuing Education dance programsAssist student inquiries by providing departmental course and program information.Assist with student registration in person and via phone.Assist with class and instructor documentation.Assist with special events and performances Daily OperationsProcess class rosters and instructor timesheets Process course completion documents with Continuing Education department.Assist with student and parent calls/ emails. Assist students and parents with class changes.Assist with student/customer questions, concerns or complaints. ExpectationsPerform other duties as assigned.Will have contact – in person, by email, or by phone – with staff, students, and the general public.Must exhibit a sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of staff and students and to staff and students with disabilities.
