Seasonal Customer Service Agent

Work from home customer support agents help provide phone services to customers after a hurricane. You will be taking inbound calls and assisting customers as needed.

Overview:

This position is providing empathetic customer service to those in need while in a virtual setting. If you are also looking for a family oriented, professional work from home environment - this is the place for you.

We are seeking experienced customer service, call center, virtual support reps, to be on standby to take phone calls after a natural disaster.

Once you are called in you will have training for 1-2 days before beginning to take calls. You may be required to take calls for a few days, weeks or months depending on the need. This may happen numerous times throughout hurricane season (June 1-Nov 30).

It involves using your home computer and remotely answering inbound phone calls over the internet, using a headset.

Requirements:

Must have and/or be willing to put together a quiet office setting in your home (or an area where you can turn into a home office with a computer/laptop, internet connection to the wall/router, and headset hook ups).

High level of professionalism and phone demeanor, adequate for business purposes.

Excellent typing, communication and computer skills.

Must be willing to submit to a standard background check, drug test, technology check and voice assessments.

Must be US resident

Technical Requirements:

Computer - CPU i5 (or equivalent), i7 recommended, No Atom, Celeron, Pentium, Opteron processors.

Internet Download Speed 20Mbs down speed minimum.

Internet Upload Speed 20Mbs up speed minimum.

Network Latency Max 250 MS latency max.

OS Win 8.1 (64bit), Win 10 (64bit).

RAM 8GB needed

Must have a home office set up and ethernet cord you can connect to your computer.

Chromebooks, ipads or similar devices are not acceptable. Must be a desktop or laptop connected to a nearby router or wall for firewall/security purposes

Pay: $15 per hour

Schedule:

• 8-9 hour shifts
• Monday to Sunday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
