SUMMARY :

This position is responsible for assisting Sales Account Managers with large volume retail service accounts of beef and pork.

Responsibilities include :

• Entering and processing all types of customer orders accurately
• Entering and maintaining price lists
• Accurately maintaining customized customer process lists
• Tracking deliveries by working with the customer service department and relaying pertinent information
• Aiding in completing various management performance reports
• Handling field calls from customers and obtaining necessary information for the manager to address
• Cross-training with other Sales Administrators and filling in for them when absent
• Managing all incoming calls

This position will interact with various departments, including but not limited to claims, scheduling, transportation, pricing, production, quality assurance, and credit.

Building strong relationships with both internal and external customers and performing other administrative duties as assigned are essential parts of this role.

REQUIREMENTS : Education :

Education :

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience :

2 plus years in a business environment, preferably in Distribution or Customer Service.

Computer Skills :

Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are a must.Knowledge of the Tyson Business Computer System is preferred.

Ability to work with EDI and third-party online systems such as ITN and Foodlink.

Communication Skills :

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills :

Work activities are variable and require good judgment skills to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with others.

Assignments are defined and the approach to be taken is usually determined in coordination with others.Good teamwork skills and a strong work ethic are required.

Professional demeanor and phone etiquette are also requirements.Must be highly motivated and detail-oriented with the willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
