Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Exercise fundamental sound project management techniques and workflow process when executing assigned projects. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Build project plans using MS Project and WBS structures able to clearly outline objectives timing and risks
- Effectively manage project teams time and allocate resources to ensure deliverables are completed. Communicate and align key resources at all levels of the organization on assigned projects.
- Track and monitor all project milestones and deliverables. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Act as a best in class Project Management example for the organization and subject matter expert
- Development of Project Management guidelines and a protocol or screening tool for the business
- Support training events on project management
- Act as a mentor to other parts of the organization who need project management help or information
- Prepare time to market KPIs tracking and present to leadership and maintain tracking boards
- Report out key project management metrics to various functions and levels
Experience:
- 3 plus years of proven experience as a project manager
- Experience with wide-ranging information technology services and hardware software migrations
- Must demonstrate the ability to schedule and manage resource capacity required
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally and the ability to tailor messaging to different levels within the organization
- Demonstrated success delivering projects on time meeting requirements and with high team satisfaction including some complex projects and projects involving a number of project staff and users
- Demonstrated expertise utilizing multiple project methodologies such as Agile
Communication Skills: Must exhibit strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging to the different levels of the organization.
Special Skills: Experience with software licensing preferred. Formal certification in Project Management PMI PMP CSM preferred.
Supervisor: No direct reports.
Location: Springdale, AR (onsite only)
Travel: Minimal travel; depending on project assignments.
