Tyson Foods Incorporated is Hiring a FRESH PLANT EX: EPAD Utility Labor PR03 Near Wilkesboro, NC
Job Details:Pay is $16.85 per hour.Schedule is Approximately 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday, Overtime as needed. I. Essential Functions Of The Job
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to: boxing and weighing finished boneless thighs to be packaged for bulk orders and assist with maintaining the flow of other bulk packed products in the area.
The Utility is responsible for placing the finished boneless thighs for bulk packaging into boxes. Weighing the boxes to make certain the product is packaged to customers’ weight specifications. Stacking the boxes on pallets. The Utility assists with duties of other Utility positions on the line as required. Must be able to work in damp/cool conditions. Must be able to lift 40 plus pounds repeatedly
RequirementsII. MUSCULAR/SKELETAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOBMust be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from their work stations. Must be able to use a gripping motion with hands to pick up tubs of Thighs. Must be able to lift and stack tubs which can weigh up to 40 pounds plus Must be able to stand the duration of shift approximately an average of 8 hours. Bending, twisting and turning body from side to side to see and keep up with product. Must have good hand/eye coordination to safely conduct job
III. TYPES OF EQUIPMENT REQUIRED TO OPERATE FOR THE POSITIONGloves and water proof boots. Sharpening Steel Hand Jack Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair bonnet and beard guard.
IV. MINIMUM EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, DIPLOMA OR TECHNICAL EXPERTISE REQUIRES TO PERFORM THE JOB FUNCTIONSMust have good work and attendance record. On the job training is provided.
