Job Details:Pay is $17.45 per hourI. Essential Functions Of The Job
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to: removing the wings from the breast frame.
The Wing Cutter cuts the wings from the breast frame and tosses them into chutes feeding the wing conveyor. Visually inspect meat for proper cut or bones. Must be able to work in damp/cool conditions. All other duties as assigned by management and group leaders.
RequirementsII. MUSCULAR/SKELETAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
Must be able to use a gripping motion with one hand to grab the wing of the front half, rolling the wing while using a knife in the other hand to remove the wing. Must be able to stand the duration of shift approximately an average of 8 hours with 2 30 minute breaks. Bending, twisting and turning body from side to side to see and keep up with product. Must have good hand/eye coordination to safely cut fillet. Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from their work stations. Must have good hand-eye coordination to safely cut wing from front half.
III. TYPES OF EQUIPMENT REQUIRED TO OPERATE FOR THE POSITION
Water proof boots as required. Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair bonnet and beard guard.
IV. MINIMUM EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, DIPLOMA OR TECHNICAL EXPERTISE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB FUNCTIONS.
Must have good work and attendance record. On the job training is provided
