Tyson Foods Incorporated is Hiring a Maintenance Generalist Full-Time-1st Shift Lexington, NE Near Lexington, NE
- General Maintenance-Maintenance is responsible for the continuing upkeep of the equipment used throughout the plan. A Maintenance Technician should have a working knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems. Be able to troubleshoot and understand electrical and mechanic equipment's.
- Maintenance crews may run 6 days per week, and will include shifts on Sundays and some major holidays when necessary.
Monday & Tuesday off.
maintenance works Sunday. There is a possibility that some work on Holidays will need to be completed.
Requirements:
- Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience or graduated from one plus two programs.
- candidates must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of personnel. Maintenance Generalist team members must be able to work safely and independently at all times.
- must be able to read, write and interpret equipment manuals and technical instructions where required. must be able to use math as needed to complete work related computations for machinery speeds and rations, fluid capacities, critical dimensions, ect.. Applicants must be able and willing to follow all operational procedures and safety rules.
