Tyto Athene is searching for a Minotaur Family of Services (MFoS) Training Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) PMA-290 Special Mission Aircraft (SMA) P-8A Research and Development (R&D) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Program Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct training support to the Fleet on all MFoS training/curriculum/courseware development aspects to include software (SW)/hardware (HW) development, platform integration and test, and U.S. Navy Fleet demonstrations and exercises.
• Produce MFoS SW change briefs and User Guide updates. Responsible for updating the MFoS training laptop with the latest SW updates prior to, or at a minimum concurrently with new mission MFoS SW deliveries.
• Track the MFoS SW roadmap, generate training material to cover future updates/capabilities, and coordinate with 3rd Party Development Teams to ensure SW change briefs and User Guides are reflective of latest changes.
• Manage MFoS related Software Trouble Reports (STRs) in the Jira database to include coordination with Fleet Users ensuring the database is accurate, fully documented, and trackable.

Required:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project. MFoS background. Experience with U.S. Navy Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) programs.

Desired:

• BS or BA. Qualified U.S. Navy P-3/P-8 Naval Flight Officer (NFO) with Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron (VQ) 1 and NAVAIR Air & Test Evaluation (VX) squadron(s).
• Experience in curriculum develop supporting U.S. Navy training requirements.

Location/Travel: Travel between Lexington Park, MD (NAS Patuxent River) and Jacksonville, FL (NAS Jacksonville), as well as the various MFoS industry vendors in the Washington DC area is required.

Clearance: TS with ability to obtain SCI.
