Job Description
- Executes the demand planning program for a complex portfolio of weapons systems and/or component piece parts.
- Supports the development and implementation of outcome-based demand support strategies that optimize supply chain management principles to enhance system readiness and life cycle cost affordability.
- Supports the planning, development, implementation, and management of effective and affordable product support strategies for demands throughout the life cycle for weapons, materiel, or information systems.
- Executes the demand planning module and runs demand planning macros.
- Supports the weapon system manager in the development and documentation of the demands for the supply support strategy in accordance with policy and regulatory guidance.
- Addresses a variety of unusual demand planning and inventory problems, questions, or conditions.
