Several directorates within the USASMDC Technical Center are seeking undergraduate students to assign to student trainee positions to develop skill sets needed for current and future USASMDC programs. Assignments will involve research and development or science and technology projects in the Technical Center core competency areas of Directed Energy (e.g., high-energy laser technology development, high-power microwave technology), Tactical Space and High Altitude Technologies (e.g., small satellites and high altitude platforms), Test and Evaluation (e.g., ballistic missile targets, air and missile defense testing), and Hypersonics and Strategic Weapons (e.g., hypersonic test support, rapid weapon systems development).
