Job Description

Create, manage and execute a set of testing scripts/test cases on all software releases to ensure the ongoing quality of customer facing loan documentation.

Collaborate with various loan origination developers/analyst, various document generation vendors, Business Analysts and various USBHM Change Agents early in development projects to ensure customer facing loan documentation requirements are identified and met, find errors early in the process and to analyze appropriate test case selection/coverage for the release.

Lead test case reviews with key Subject Matter Experts (SME)

Create test summary reports during the testing phase of project

Communicate Bugs to the team in a thorough and easy to follow manner

Lead requirements gathering sessions; focusing on document impacts and expected behaviors and the identification of document mapping/configuration needs.

Participate and when necessary, lead triage sessions on identified bugs to determine validity, criticality, and root cause

Quickly assess incoming production issues once they reach the technology team and determine priority, plan of action, and assignment to other team members as needed.

Act as a main point of contact with the origination developers/analyst, various document generation vendors, Business Analysts and various USBHM Change Agents on testing criteria and execution.

Execute production checkout (Smoke Testing) on new deployments

Proactively monitor logs (production) for any trending issues before they are identified by customers.

Monitor daily scheduled processes to ensure there are no issues and take action to resolve independently when there are.

Other internal projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

5 years of quality assurance or relevant experience

Strong understanding of mortgage loan documentation and the interdependencies to associated loan processes.

Proficient Microsoft application skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint)

Understand the utilization of Salesforce cases

Demonstrated ability to utilize and manage AzureDev (ADO)

Proven strong interpersonal skills

Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

Experience developing test scripts and communicating testing progress

Demonstrated ability as self-starter

Demonstrated ability to multitask on a portfolio of projects (2-4 concurrent)

Possess an inquisitive mind that is driven to identify issues

Passion to learn new skills and take on difficult tasks

Ability to analyze impact of process changes at the feature, application, systems and enterprise level.

Demonstrated analytical and technical skills ability to identify root causes of exceptions, and work directly with change agents resolve.

Experience working Agile methodologies

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Eight or more years of direct experience with project management responsibilities
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations
  • Strong understanding and use of project management techniques and testing processes and supervises their use
  • Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong project management, organization and analytical skills
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Effective leadership and negotiation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of a business line or function area
