Job Description
About the team
We are Team of NoSQL and RDBMS database administrator. We take pride in keeping distributed databases up and running for different applications. We install, upgrade, patch, triage production issues to state few. If you want to know more about us, we are excited to talk about it.
Responsibility
Supervises and develops multi-platform converged enterprise engineering solutions targeted to meet existing, enhanced, and new platform solutions for business and infrastructure services. Leads, directs, or recommends cross-functional team targeted for system enhancements for system performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity. Evaluates product and service solutions.
In This role will bring in hands-on NoSQL Database experience to deploy and administer databases on-prem and Cloud. The role brings in opportunity to work with modern NoSQL (Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Couchbase) and open-source RDBMS (PostgreSQL).
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 7 years of experience within a total information technology (IT) environment
  • At least 7 years of experience with the design, development and support of technology infrastructure
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Hands-on experience with any two or more NoSQL Databases like Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Couchbase, PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with database security, risk, audit, monitoring, access control, backup/restore, patching, vulnerability management.
  • Experience in Linux based system.
  • Experience in scripting language like shell or perl.
  • Hands-on experience of deploying databases using Terraform .
  • Knowledge of deploying containerized Databases in Kubernetes Cluster.
  • Hands-on experience of Azure/AWS Database Services.
  • Familiarity on-call support rotation.
  • Ability to share knowledge/cross train Team.
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies.
  • Ability to document and articulate work.
  • Effective in networking and building relationships across business lines and technology teams.
  • Proven Team player
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
