Position Overview:The U.S. Chamber of Commerce seeks an entrepreneurial person to provide administrative and logistical support to both the Vice President of Small Business Policy and the Vice President for Transportation, Infrastructure, and Supply Chain Policy. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Strategic Advocacy Division and will have diverse responsibilities, particularly regarding logistical planning and the execution of meetings and events as well as research and special projects. Responsibilities: Perform general administrative functions, including scheduling, planning, and coordinating meetings and events; making meeting room reservations; managing information to and from two teams within the Strategic Advocacy Division; making travel arrangements; organizing issue materials; monitoring, sending, and responding to emails; maintaining electronic copies of materials; and handling executive correspondence.Draft letters, marketing collateral, and other documents.Invoice Small Business Council members annually and maintain up-to-date accounting.Conduct research and compile data, create and update charts and graphs for presentations, and assist with special projects.Provide CRM database management, including maintaining accurate contact lists and overseeing registration for virtual and in-person meetings and events. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of experience in operations or a related field.Excellent administrative, research, organization, and customer service skills.Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet time-sensitive deadlines.A professional demeanor and the ability to interact with individuals on all levels.Ability to collaborate across departments to achieve common goals.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills.Experience with shared drives and able to multitask shared documents from draft to final.Experience with Salesforce preferred.An interest in issues impacting the small business community and a basic knowledge of transportation and infrastructure issues preferred. The salary range for this position is $48,400.00 to $60,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors.
